Should I cover my dumpster rental in severe weather?
Yes, place a tarp over the roll off container and secure the sides with rope or bungee cords. Covering your dumpster is especially important if you're tossing dirt, carpet or other materials that water could get into. Water may add extra weight to your bin, which could cause you to go over your container's weight limit. Covering your dumpster can help you keep rainwater out and avoid an overage fee.
Where's the best spot to keep my roll off dumpster?
Choose a flat, paved surface close to where you're working. For home projects, your driveway is usually best. On construction sites, we recommend a designated waste area away from large equipment. We can also park your bin in the street, but you'll need to get a Right-of-Way Permit from the city of Englewood before delivery.
