When you rent a dumpster, the size you need depends on the type and amount of debris you're tossing. If you're decluttering your garage in Sherman Oaks or tossing heavy debris, a 10 yard bin is usually best. Working on a commercial renovation or demolition in Woodland Hills? The most efficient way to load your roll off dumpster is by starting with your heavier and bulkier debris. Walk you materials through the dumpster door and spread them throughout the bin to distribute the weight. Toss light waste over the sides of the roll off container to fill in empty gaps. When you finish, make sure all your debris is at or below the dumpster's fill line and close and secure the door.
Yes, you can keep your roll off dumpster in the street, but you'll need an Encroachment Permit from the city of Los Angeles first. Be sure to get your permit after you order your container and before delivery. You don't need a permit if you keep your bin on private property, like your driveway or jobsite.
