Can I keep my roll off dumpster in the street?
Yes, but you need to get a Lane Blockage Permit before scheduling delivery. Contact Lexington’s Traffic Engineering Department to apply for one. It won't cost you anything to get this permit, but you must explain why you can't keep your bin on private property. If you're planning to keep your roll off container on your driveway or jobsite, you don't need a permit of any kind. Have questions about permits or choosing a drop-off location? When will my dumpster rental arrive?
Your delivery date depends on availability and local demand, but we can typically have your roll off dumpster on-site within three business days. 2. Prepare for delivery. Remove any vehicles, materials or low-hanging obstacles to ensure we can deliver your dumpster and to avoid a trip fee.
3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
