Do I need a permit for my roll off dumpster?
You don’t need a permit to keep your bin on private property, like your driveway or construction site. But you’ll need city permission before we can deliver your dumpster rental to a street or other public right-of-way. Contact Cottage Grove’s Public Works Department to have the city review your request. The city may issue your permit outright or with conditions. Our team will help answer questions about permitting when you order your roll off container.
Can I get more than one bin when I rent a dumpster?
We don’t limit the number of roll off dumpsters you can rent at one time, depending on availability. You can have them delivered to the same location or dropped off across several jobsites. If you only have room for one bin at a time, ask about our empty-and-return service. This allows you to swap out your dumpster rental for a new one after you fill it up. 3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
