Do I need to cover my dumpster rental when it rains?
We recommend covering your dumpster with a tarp when it rains or snows, and securing it to the bin with bungee cords. This will help you avoid adding extra weight to the container from materials absorbing moisture and standing water in the bin. Each roll off dumpster has a weight limit, which is included in your quoted price. If you exceed this limit, you’ll incur a per-ton overage fee, so you may consider covering your dumpster during a storm.
