Do I need to be present for my roll off dumpster delivery?
Unless you need to open a gate or clear potential obstacles for our driver, you don’t have to be there when your dumpster rental arrives. If you’re working at home, park your cars in the street or in your garage. On construction sites, make sure no equipment or debris will block the drop-off location. Planning to keep your roll off container on the street in front of your property? Check with the city of Idaho Falls for permitting information first. Reach out for more tips to prepare.
What can’t I throw in my dumpster rental?
While we accept most debris in our roll off containers, there are some prohibited items you should know about. This includes oil, asbestos, paint and other hazardous waste. You can’t throw bulky objects like tires and railroad ties in our dumpsters either. Not only do these materials raise health concerns at the landfill, but they may also damage your bin. 1. Choose a size and delivery spot. We require 60 feet of space in a straight line and 23 feet of vertical clearance.
2. Prepare for delivery. Remove any vehicles, materials or low-hanging obstacles to ensure we can deliver your dumpster and to avoid a trip fee.
3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
