What can’t I throw away when I rent a dumpster?
Never throw flammable and hazardous waste in our dumpster rentals. Prohibited items such as paint, asbestos and tires raise environmental and safety concerns at the landfill. They also may damage your roll of container, resulting in a fee. If you have specific questions about the materials you’re tossing, reach out to our team.
Can I put my dumpster rental in the street?
We can deliver your roll off container to a street near your project site. Just make sure to contact the city of Shelbyville’s Public Works Department to see if you’ll need a permit for street placement. You can keep your roll off dumpster anywhere that has a flat, paved surface. Most renters choose to keep their bin in a driveway, which doesn’t require a permit.
