Why struggle with overflowing trash bags or costly junk removal services? Our dumpster rental service helps you tackle any job, from basement cleanouts to major renovations, at prices that won't break the bank.
1. Choose a size and delivery spot. We require 60 feet of space in a straight line and 23 feet of vertical clearance.
2. Prepare for delivery. Remove any vehicles, materials or low-hanging obstacles to ensure we can deliver your dumpster and to avoid a trip fee.
3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.

If you plan to keep your roll off container in the street, you'll need a Right-of-Way Obstruction Permit from the city of St. Paul. The hauler is responsible for getting your permit. So, we recommend calling in to rent your dumpster at least five business days in advance if you want to keep it on the street. This will give the hauler time to get your permit before delivery.
You do not need a permit to keep your dumpster on private property, such as your driveway or jobsite. Please note that we cannot deliver dumpsters to lawns or alleys, only private driveways and approved permitted locations. Alleys are too small for our trucks to fit through. If you have questions about where to place your dumpster rental, our team is here to help. We'll walk you through the specifics of renting a dumpster in St. Paul and help you select the best spot to deliver your dumpster.
If there is a snow emergency while your dumpster is in the street, we will need to pick up your bin ASAP to avoid fines from the city. Our team will reach out to you, but please feel free to call us with questions about how to complete your dumpster rental following a snow emergency.
If your dumpster is in your driveway and it snows, make sure your driveway is shoveled and clear so our drivers can pick up your dumpster. If your dumpster is snowed in when it's time for pickup, we'll have to charge a trip fee to return when the driveway is clear. If you're prepping for snow, it's a good idea to cover your dumpster with a tarp, so all the water doesn't add weight to your debris. For more help on dealing with a dumpster rental in the snow, call our team today.
The right roll off dumpster for you depends on what you’re throwing away — and how much of it. Looking for a small dumpster rental? Our smallest bin holds 10 cubic yards, which is ideal for garage cleanouts or light demolition jobs. Our largest dumpster holds 40 cubic yards. Choose this size if you’re planning a commercial renovation or full home remodel. For projects in between, we offer 15 yard, 20 yard and 30 yard bins. To learn more about our range of dumpster sizes, contact us.
We recommend walking large, heavy items inside through the swinging door first. Then, use a wheelbarrow to roll additional debris in through the door. Spread the items evenly throughout your roll off container to distribute their weight. You can also toss smaller items in over the sides. When you’re finished loading, secure the dumpster rental door and make sure nothing is sticking out the top or hanging over the sides at pickup.
It depends on the weight of your debris. If you’re tossing heavy materials like bricks, you should only fill your roll off dumpster partway to avoid going over its weight limit. The limit ensures our driver can safely haul away the bin. Landfills also charge disposal costs by the ton, so going over your weight limit will result in a per-ton overage fee. Use our weight calculators to estimate the weight of your debris and choose the best size bin for your junk removal project. No matter what you’re tossing, be sure it’s below the dumpster’s fill line at pickup.
These roll off dumpsters can be used for common household and commercial projects, including home cleanouts, remodeling, general construction and demolition.
*Disclaimer: All dumpster dimensions may vary slightly but volume is accurate. Prices and availability are subject to change without notice. Capacity estimates are based on the volume of a 33 gallon trash bag.
